The London Ambulance Service (LAS) Health and Wellbeing Team completed health coaching accreditation with Peak Health in 2024.  The training was well structured, supportive and easily applicable to our patient groups – LAS staff.  Attending this training was a new way of working for the team, historically, LAS staff request signposting and solutions from the Wellbeing Hub.  This new skill allowed us to be proactive and join our colleagues on their journey to achieving their individual goals.  We were then able to embed health coaching within sickness absence support alongside the traditional health goals.  Throughout the course and in the months thereafter, the Wellbeing team were supported by Tim and colleagues through group and individual supervision, check-ins and case study reviews.  Tim’s encouragement of our work based training and experienced assistance with introducing and changing our offering to colleagues has been a huge benefit to the LAS.
