Practitioner II Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Coaching 

This course offers monthly tutor-led sessions to support you in completing your practical and written requirements for summative assessment and certification. You will have access to regular opportunities to interact with tutors and peers and reflect on your evolving health and wellbeing coaching practice. All course participants have access to extensive online learning resources to support their development and portfolio submission.

If not already a member, the fee includes 12 months of Practitioner Membership of the UKIHCA for 2025 starters.

  • Successful completion leads to Personalised Care Institute Level 2 and 3 certification and is equivalent to NHSE Tier 2 Health Coach status.

  • Optional group health coaching supervision sessions (£250 plus VAT supplement applicable)

  • Eligible to apply for (or continue) UKIHCA Practitioner membership (if not already done so at Practitioner I)

Pre-requisites

  • Peak Health Coaching Practitioner I Certificate , or equivalent

  • Participants should be active health coaching practitioners or in roles where they regularly use a health coaching approach. 

Course Length

  • Learner led, usually around 6-12 months.

Learning Outcomes

This course offers the opportunity to:

  • Work independently, with support, and as part of a peer network, to consolidate your practice as a health and wellbeing coach 

  • develop knowledge, skills and techniques for reflective practice

  • observe qualified health and wellbeing coaches in live coaching sessions

  • increase your self-awareness as a coach through peer and client feedback

  • gain formative feedback on your coaching practice from clinical, coaching and educational experts

  • participate as a coach and client to deepen your knowledge and understanding of coaching relationships

  • develop your thinking in relation to evaluating health coaching outcomes

  • Build your CPD portfolio and plan your ongoing development as a health coaching practitioner

Course Structure

This course builds on our Intermediate Certificate and Practitioner I Certificate and includes regular tutor-facilitated reflective practice, as well as learner led work. You will complete 100 hours of health and wellbeing coaching plus a portfolio.

The portfolio will enable you to demonstrate your knowledge, understanding and skills in health coaching as well as giving you the space to reflect on practice and gather feedback from peers and clients.

Comprehensive online resources are provided to support your learning, and you will have support from a dedicated course tutor. 

Assessment

  • Coaching log 

  • Portfolio to evidence your evolving coaching competencies 

  • Oral assessment (This is a 30-45 minute formative, supervisory process)

The full fee of our engaging and innovative, Practitioner II Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Coaching  is

£1950 plus VAT

(This fee includes Foundation and Intermediate Certificates, Practitioner I

and Practitioner II Certificates as well 12 months Practitioner Membership of the UKIHCA for 2025 starters).

£800 plus VAT
