"What Matters to You?" Training

Peak Health Coaching provides "What Matters to You?" training, which can be booked online. This is ideal for frontline staff in the health, social and community care sector.

About our "What Matters to You?" Training

Health and social care are moving away from asking “What’s the matter with you?” to “What matters to you?” ("WMTY?"). This is a central principle that lies at the heart of person-centred care. This workshop is focused around how to set-up and have “WMTY?" conversations with patients and colleagues and why it is so important for everyone.
We believe that working in a person-centred organisation improves your quality of life, and the lives of people you support.

Who is the workshop for?

This introduction has been designed for those at bands 2-4 or equivalent, including reception, admin. and support staff, but is also suitable for everyone working in the health, social and community care sectors. No prior knowledge is necessary, but some short pre-course reading will be supplied, to support your learning.

What to expect from the programme

The 3-hour workshop is interactive and practical. We use memorable exercises and examples to stimulate your thinking and interest in person-centred approaches. There will be opportunity to further develop your skills, in follow-on courses for those most interested in developing coaching skills to use alongside and within the work they are already doing.
